In chat, or anywhere you can view a players card, open the card and click on the magnifying glass next to their influence. This will open up the "Influence Comparison" window.

Use the Forge to craft Gold Gear by combining Purple gear.

In the Forge, click on Craft button, then the Gear Craft button. On this screen click the + to select a Gold Gear item, then click the small purple button with the Gear icon to select 20 Purple Gear items. Once you have 12 selected click ...

Do not spend to much food and diamonds upgrading the Purple and Blue heroes. Once you start getting the Gold and Red heroes the Purple and Blue become pretty worthless. Save you resources for where they count.

It is best to keep defeating the bosses in Adventure mode until all the limited items have been distributed. Lot's of treasure to farm from these and skipping exhausting the limited items will force you to go back and get them.

To check your troop stats, open the Barracks and click on the menu button on the right next to the troop level. This will open Attribute screen for the troops.

A good way to gain Medals is to donate troops during the Royal Donation event.

You will lose Influence, but IMHO Influence is less important than your Queue Strength. Using the Medals to upgrade troop skins gives your queues greater strength.

Grouping specific heroes together enables the Hero Bonds. The bonds can be viewed by clicking the Bond button in the upper left hand corner on the queue screen.

When building your Queues, grouping the Heroes with the same faction adds Faction Aura bonuses. You can see the bonuses by clicking on the "Faction Aura" button in the upper left corner on the queue screen.

If you are out of Stamina, join a Rally.

Not only do you help the entire guild by joining rallies, you are get prizes. Win Win.

Things I wish I had known before wasting a bunch of diamonds.

Getting to Castle level 30 is great, but most power comes from your best Queue strength. I have been beat by lower level castles that have had more research and building levels done than I had.
